The holiday season begins at the R.W. Norton Art Gallery! We invite artists to submit work for Home for the Holidays, our 2026 holiday juried exhibition celebrating the warmth, joy, and traditions that make this time of year feel like home.

  • Whether home is a place, a memory, or the people we hold close, we encourage artists to explore what "home for the holidays" means through original works inspired by:
  • Cozy holiday gatherings and family traditions
  • Decorated homes, festive interiors, and glowing winter scenes
  • Seasonal celebrations, travel, and coming home
  • Nostalgic memories, treasured heirlooms, and moments of togetherness

From snow-covered cottages and candlelit windows to bustling kitchens, cherished pets, and quiet evenings by the fire, Home for the Holidays invites artists to capture the comfort, connection, and spirit that define the season.

Presentation:
  • Each artist may submit no more than two works that best represent(s) her style and the spirit of the exhibition.
